"A fine example of the Cornemuse du Centre, the bagpipe type they used in the
middle of France. The instruments have had a long evolution and nowadays this
type is used in many ensembles, together with the hurdy-gurdy or with
other bagpipes in different keys. I made this bagpipe from very black ebony and imitation ivory. The
customer lives in Normandy and wanted an oakleaf; I made it from two types of
rootwood (maple and walnut).
