Another full 3-D piper, very finely wrought, on a small hallmarked silver spoon by "Jas. Aitchison" (the name is found on some nice Scottish jewellry). The tuning pins are clearly modeled, and there are even bores in the ends of the drones. Engraving in the bowl reads "Edinburgh 1908." The engraving is in a style called "bright" in which the cuts are made at an angle that reflects light, making the engraving look lighter than the surrounding metal.
