The artist of this handsome stamp has things more or less right - for a change - but it's too bad that more of the pipe isn't visible. A unique touch is the inclusion of a tune in the background; a regular multimedia stamp, this. The bagpipe is of course of the Scottish Great Highland variety, which is represented on our "Bagpipes of the World" CD album and can be seen in detail on this site at this location (use your browser's "back" button to return here). |
