This is the second of a set of three stamps that depicts scarce bagpipes about which we would like to know more. Each presents instruments from different Soviet republics. Here, a Georgian bagpipe is shown. We only know of one specimen in the West of this bagpipe, in the collection of the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art.
